What does a shift look like?
A few hours on a set day, usually a mix of till work, steaming and pricing stock, and keeping the floor looking well.
Do I need retail experience?
No. Shops train you on the till and their pricing, and you will be on with people who know the ropes.
Are weekend shifts available?
Yes. Weekends are often the busiest times and the hardest to fill, so weekend help is especially welcome.
Is there a minimum age?
Shops set their own policy, commonly 16 or 18, and some take transition-year students on placement. Check with the shop.
